![]() This was a while back, but it was the highlight of the year. I was able to get into Pioneer school after my first year of Pioneering in France. The school was held at the Chatillon complex in the South of Paris. Each day was long but rewarding, and we were spoiled rotten because we had a professional French chef who prepared all our lunch meals, and apparently woke up before dawn each day to get us the best baguettes and fresh ingredients from all over Paris and there was no on-site kitchen -now there's a challenge! All the English congregations got together, and created a themed lunch every day for us. We were really touched by all the volunteers and extra effort that went into making us welcomed guest. The memories of Pioneer School, of course, are unforgettable and cherished. Fondant au Chocolat
